Press Release | New OBD Mold Profiles and Bluetooth Adapter

OCP has released a new family of new family of molds for the OBD Connectors used commonly in the Telematics and Automotive diagnostic equipment industries.
The new Low Profile right angle can accommodate either a flat ribbon cable or a small gauge multi-conductor cable in a straight or right angle cable orientation. Our larger right angle molds are primarily designed for larger gauge wires. Any of our OBD cable assemblies can be manufactured with our unique connector sets designed for optimal retention in the high motion environment of light vehicles. OCP can also provide a variety of cable types to accommodate applications whether they are tied to the CAN bus or for some other application. Coiled, twisted pairs, shielded or unshielded, harsh hi flex environment all have been designed into OBD Cable assemblies.
In addition to our portfolio of our OBD molds cable assembly designs we have also developed several other new cables and adapters for the mobility marketplace. Recently released is a Bluetooth OBD-II Wireless Transceiver Dongle. OBD II to I – Phone and I – Pad cable and OBD to USB 2.0 cable.
